Who We Are
Lisa has been passionate about small businesses since she set up a craft and snack stand in her childhood neighbourhood at age 11.
Lisa opened her boutique firm, LP Tax Services in 2017, after leaving a large corporate tax firm where she was employed for over 15 years. She holds advanced diplomas in both Canadian and US Taxation.
She is also a certified Tax Professional with CRA and the IRS.

After graduating from Canadore College, Karissa worked her way up to Assistant Manager at a very busy local bakery and restaurant. There she learned all the ins and outs of running a business including inventory, payroll, and financial reports. She comes from an entrepreneurial farming family.
As a certified Tax Professional with CRA, Karissa specializes in family tax returns as well as farm tax returns.
Besides being speedy & efficient, Karissa’s other specialties are Excel/Google Sheets and re-organizing large shoeboxes full of receipts.
